cyanogenic glycosides (cyanide)
Dangerous parts

💡 Leaves release cyanide too – a particularly dangerous hedge plant for rodents, horses and goats.
🚑 What to do if eaten?
- Remove the plant, rinse the mouth with water; do not induce vomiting yourself.
- Note what, how much and when – take a photo of the plant.
- Call your vet (for children: poison centre) before symptoms appear – especially at level 2–3.
