Possible symptoms

mechanical injury (spines)

Non-toxic ≠ edible: any plant can upset the stomach in quantity, and pesticides or fertilisers can be toxic.

🚑 What to do if eaten?

  1. Remove the plant, rinse the mouth with water; do not induce vomiting yourself.
  2. Note what, how much and when – take a photo of the plant.
  3. Call your vet (for children: poison centre) before symptoms appear – especially at level 2–3.
